The title's dream looks weird this season, but it's not a fairy tale. Arsenal can win the title this year!!
Sitting in the fifth place, the Gunners are only eight points behind the new leaders Liverpool, who are yet to lose any game this season. Never forget the fact that we share the same points with Chelsea, and both teams are only two points behind Spurs.
After analyzing the next fixtures in December and in January, Arsenal and Manchester City look more comfortable than the other title contenders. Both teams only have Chelsea and Liverpool as tough games, and the Gunners, especially, have only one away game in January.
Nevertheless, one stumbling block that may diminish Arsenal title hopes is the lack of quality players on the bench, and this was clearly shown in the narrow win against Huddersfield yesterday.
The gunners still have some key players on the sidelines: Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, and now Rob Holding.
The january window, then, will be crucial for the gunners this year, especially that the club needs a fast player on the wings, that can create spaces and help two of the best strikers in the premier league: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Alexandre Lacazette. Ousmane Dembele remains the favourite player to sign for Arsenal, given the long interest from Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi in the player. A new defender remains a plus for the gunners, given the injuries and the suspensions of our current choices: Mustafi, Sokratis, Holding, Koscielny, and Monreal.

Therefore, Arsenal have the necessary ingredients to challenge for the title, especially if the team keeps the unbeaten record in the last 21 matches. A stat, actually, suggests that the gunners can manage to win the title with 88 points in May, if the team is able to maintain an unbeaten run for the rest of the season. However, a new winger is the only missing piece in the team's great squad that raised the hopes of all the fans this year, after a disappointing season in Wenger's last season with the club.
Finally, the greatest keys for Arsenal this season are two persons: Unai Emery, and Lucas Torreira. The former is giving the fans a good football, with good tactics especially in the second half. Meanwhile, the latter was Man of the match in the last six games, and has proved his worth since his incoming to the club.
Predictions for Arsenal's position this year?

We won't be signing Dembele or an expensive defender in January. Let's focus on walking before we try to run. Get top 4 this season (if we can) and then progress from there.
