With the winter transfer window officially shut and two new recruits on board, its all systems go for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal as they head to Turf Moor to tackle Burnley.
The big positive for the Gunners is that top marksman and club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns to the squad after suspension. It is highly likely he will come straight back into the starting XI. David Luiz is also available again after also serving a suspension. Elsewhere in defence, Sead Kolasinac is being assessed ahead of kick off but its likely that young Bukayo Saka will keep his place at left back. New recruit Cedric is unavailable through injury whilst tomorrow probably comes too early for Mari also.
Further forward, the midfield engine room is likely to revert to the Torreira-Xhaka pivot after gettint a rest in the FA Cup. Mesut Ozil and Joe Willock will battle it for the number ten role whilst there is big competition in wide areas and upfront also. Martinelli, Pepe, Aubameyang and Lacazette are seeimingly going head to head for three spots and whilst four doesn't go into three, it is likely we will see them all as the game unfolds.
Sean Dyche heads into this clash without Ashley Barnes upfront but this blow has been softened of late with fellow forward Chris Wood's good form. Second striker Jay Rodriguez is likely to start again in structured 4-4-2. In midfield, new deadline day recruit Josh Brownhill could make the squad but is unlikely to start. With very few other injuries and concerns, Burnley have steadied the ship of late and will be looking to exploit home advantage again tomorrow afternoon.
Expected lineup:
GK: Bernd Leno
RB: Hector Bellerin
CB: Rob Holding
CB: Sokratis
LB: Bukayo Saka
CM: Lucas Torreira
CM: Granit Xhaka
CAM: Mesut Ozil
RW: Nicolas Pepe
ST: Alex Lacazette
LW: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Prediction: 2-0 to the resurgent Gunners
