Every year Arsenal is linked to just about every player. This year I’ve created a football transfer algorithm (Algo rating) which gathers all the rumours to calculate the real likelihood of a player joining Arsenal. The algorithm provides a score out of 10.0 and is constantly changing each day, depending on the number of blogs, articles, posts and tweets across the internet talking about a specific transfer rumour. So let’s get started to see what this week’s rumours.

Raul Jimenez 

Jimenez has scored 17 Premier League goals this season and has also been linked with Manchester United.

Philippe Coutinho

The playmaker is due to end his loan stint at Bayern next month and return to Barcelona, but the Catalan club is keen on selling him this summer to raise funds and reduce their wage bill.

Joelson Fernandes

Portuguese outlet TVI24 report that Arsenal offered €15m for Fernandes, which the Portuguese club may consider despite his €45m release clause.
